These terms cover your use of Port My Code, a tool for converting code between programming languages using AI-assisted translation. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Using the service
Port My Code lets you paste code in one language and get back an equivalent version in another. Output is generated by AI models and is provided as a starting point, not a guaranteed, production-ready result. You're responsible for reviewing, testing, and adapting anything you get back before relying on it.
Free usage is rate-limited and may require passing an automated bot check. Paid plans remove those limits and add features described on the pricing page.
Accounts
You need an account to access certain features, including Pro plans and saved history. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.
Code you submit
You keep ownership of any code or text you submit for conversion. We don't claim rights over it. It's sent to our AI processing providers solely to generate your converted output, and we don't retain, store, or reuse it once your request completes.
Don't submit code you don't have the right to share, or anything containing secrets, credentials, or personal data you don't want processed by a third-party AI provider.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Polar, our payment processor. We don't collect or store your full card details ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel or switch plans anytime from your account. Pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.
Refunds are handled separately under our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Port My Code to break the law, abuse the service (including excessive automated requests, scraping, or trying to bypass rate limits or bot checks), or attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
Intellectual property
The Port My Code name, site design, and underlying software belong to us. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI-generated code conversions can contain mistakes, miss edge cases, or produce output that doesn't compile or behave identically to the original. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits.
Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
